Title Roll with soft fade in and out using EDIUS

Apply the EDIUS border wipe transition and stretch it to the full length of the title. Then set start and end keyframes to the same value such as 70% depending on how far up the title should fade in. The title must be on a V track.

Now configure the options as seen below, you may alter the softness value, in the below example a value of 40 is used.

You can save this as an EDIUS user preset by right click in info palette and then use it for any future title rolls.
